This mini-conference focused on best practices and key considerations for school-based therapy animal programs. Hear from field leaders who have established successful AAI programs within their schools and learn about how to protect the safety and well-being of all involved in the intervention. Practical suggestions are also provided, such as ideas for overcoming common roadblocks, securing AAI-inclusive insurance, and selecting and training therapy and/or facility animals.

Anyone interested in incorporating therapy and/or facility animals into schools. This event is relevant to educators and program administrators whether they partner with their own animal or with volunteer therapy animal teams.
